Obviously there are a lot of amusement and theme parks around the world and we wish we could give each one its own category, but as we start out this site, we feel like that would overwhelm the site and make it less enjoyable to use. So, we have tried coming up with a system, to start with, and there are still a lot of parks... The criteria we are using to start is that the park either has to be over 100 acres in size, have 20 or more amusement rides, have 2 or more large roller coasters, or have an annual attendance of over 100,000 people. We have also included parks that don’t meet that criteria if they decent sized and are the only one in the state/country/region/province, have some type historical significance, or if they are just really popular with our users. If you know of a park that isn’t listed but you really think it should have its own category, just let us know in the Suggestions & Feedback forum.

Hello there and welcome to the Amusement Park Enthusiast website! I am a huge fan of amusement parks and theme parks and have been going to them, all over, ever since I was a young kid. The thing I love most about them is the time you get to spend with family and friends, while having a great time. Growing up, I went to many amusement parks with my father, and as an adult, I have been able to share the same experience with my own kids. So, if you enjoy amusement and theme parks, then take a moment a create a FREE account and come join us in our discussion about the parks, or even start your own! Share your experiences with the different parks, and pass along any info you might have on upcoming changes to parks (such as new rides being installed or ones being removed). We will also have a gallery section, where you can share photos from your fun times or things you have discovered while at a park, as well as a video section which will have videos from the parks, rides videos, and more for our registered members!
