Posted July 8Jul 8 Obviously there are a lot of amusement and theme parks around the world and we wish we could give each one its own category, but as we start out this site, we feel like that would overwhelm the site and make it less enjoyable to use. So, we have tried coming up with a system, to start with, and there are still a lot of parks...The criteria we are using to start is that the park either has to be over 100 acres in size, have 20 or more amusement rides, have 2 or more large roller coasters, or have an annual attendance of over 100,000 people. We have also included parks that don’t meet that criteria if they decent sized and are the only one in the state/country/region/province, have some type historical significance, or if they are just really popular with our users.If you know of a park that isn’t listed but you really think it should have its own category, just let us know in the Suggestions & Feedback forum.
